If you’re getting married, the wedding is probably going to be the most important and joyful day of your life. I know because it was for me. I think my husband and I cried with happiness so much the few days before our big day that we could have filled an entire lake.
However, if you are not careful in your wedding planning those tears of joy could very well be tears of woe. Weddings can be expensive and so many things can go wrong. Even though I cried because I was happy, I was really scared that everything was going to get screwed up for both of us.
Of just about everything my husband and I have ever done in our lives, we planned and planned and planned for every contingency we could think of. When we ran out of things we needed to consider, we asked other friends and relatives of their wedding experiences and how they would have done things differently.
I lost a lot of sleep thinking and thinking and thinking some more, trying to figure out what I was missing. My husband, on the other hand, slept like a baby. He wasn’t worried at all. I even asked him if he even cared about our wedding. He just shrugged and said – “Sweetheart, I don’t have to worry. Everybody else is doing that for me.” My jaw just dropped.
I wanted to deck him. But he just smiled and took me into his arms and said – “Baby, I promise that no matter what happens at our wedding, it will all work out.
Then he continued – “We worked very hard at planning our wedding but I need you to remember this. Nothing in this world is every perfect. The best way to avoid the bad things is to have a PLAN B.”
“Hmmmm…that’s right”, I said. We need to make a Plan B.
“But not tonight dear”, James said. Tomorrow’s another day, and we still have 4 months to go. Was I ever a Worry Wart!!!!
Anyway, that’s basically what this site is all about – How to Plan Your Perfect Wedding…even if it ends up not quite being as perfect as you like.
Either way, when you get married and celebrate your wedding day, the last thing you want to do is WORRY like I did. The more and the better you plan for your wedding day the less problems you will have, the less fights you will have and the happier everyone will be.
I wish you well and great success and hope that your wedding plan comes together PERFECTLY…or at least as perfect as possible.
Enjoy our site.
